On Thursday, October 15, in an act of civil disobedience, eleven health care activists were arrested during a protest against health insurance giant, Cigna. The group was charged with trespassing for their efforts to deliver a letter to Cigna executives, asking the company to stop practices that deny vital medical services to customers. Such practices have lead to prolonged illness, personal bankruptcy, and death for many Cigna customers throughout the country.
