Stop & Shop and Union Make a Tentative Settlement (4/21)

UFCW reached a Tentative Agreement with Stop & Shop. In our union process, local unions democratically vote on whether to accept the Tentative Agreement at a contract meeting. If they vote yes on the agreement, the protest will officially end. In the meantime, while we wait on these meetings to be scheduled, our members WILL return to work tomorrow. This is a very positive development that we could not have achieved without your unyielding support.

Are you looking for ways to support Stop & Shop workers? Whether you are a faith or community leader, or an individual activist who just wants stand in solidarity with these brave workers, you are invited to join a call to hear updates about the strike and ways you can get involved.

Here's how to support Stop & Shop 
workers on strike:

1) Do not cross the picket line! 
Remind your friends & fam not to cross!
2) Join the picket line! 
The longer the line, the shorter the strike. Stopping by or joining for one or two hours shows the workers 
that we've got their backs!
3) Donate cases or jugs of water, packaged snacks (chips, cookies, bars), and cough drops or lemons 
to the workers!
4) Donate posterboard or make a sign of support!
5) Write to Stop & Shop management and 
call Customer Service
