May 1st is not only May Day, it is also the one year anniversary of the NLRB Certification of Harvard Graduate Student Union-UAW. After a year, the Harvard Graduate Student Union-UAW is still fighting for its first contract. The Administration continues to refuse to agree to arbitration for harassment and discrimination cases. The Administration is also refusing to bargain improvements to health and their proposal on compensation is woefully inadequate.
