Next week, ECCO is doing a Solidarity Walk for Immigrant Justice all week. There's a Work and Family Mobility Phone Bank on Thursday, and on Sunday, it's the Second Anniversary of TPS dinner Sunday evening. In-district Town Halls for Lynch on Thursday and Clark on Wednesday.

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey joined a lawsuit with 13 other states against the Trump administration against the new Public Charge rule.
At the Never Again Action on Wednesday, August 14, a guard drove into a group of protesters and other guards deployed pepper spray. He has been place on Administrative leave and has since quit his position. There's an ongoing investigation of the police response. Monday, August 19, 10 AM - August 23, TBD, Solidarity Walk for Immigrant Justice, Join ECCO and allies as they walk from across 4 states to amplify the moral crisis we face as our country targets and expels immigrant families. They’ll, walk, march and even bike, a combined 280 miles from Concord, NH; Boston, MA; Montpelier, VT and Kittery, ME to Dover, NH. See their Facebook page for livestream and update. Please join when and where you are able. Kickoff is Monday, 10 AM at the JFK Federal Building near Govt. Center T Station in Boston.
Wednesday, August 21, Virtual Action: #DefundHate Virtual Town Hall - Clark constituents: Katherine Clark is holding a town hall on Wednesday to hear from constituents. We're holding our own virtual town hall for anyone who can't get to Framingham, and demanding that she DEFUND HATE. Rep. Clark is on the House Committee on Appropriations. That means that she helps decide how much money ICE and CBP receive for the camps that are separating, caging, and killing immigrant children. She's in Massachusetts for the August recess, so it's time to make our voices heard!

Lynch is finally hosting a community town hall in Braintree. Congressman Lynch is the Chair of the subcommittee on National Security which oversees both Immigration and Homeland Security.
