Today is your last day to make a donation in 2020 to Mass Jobs with Justice!

We’re writing to you to let you know that while we wrap up the year, we're going through exciting changes at Massachusetts Jobs with Justice. Mass Jobs with Justice is now women of color led by Co-Executive Directors Alicia Fleming, a bi-racial Black womxn, and Lily Huang, an Asian-American womxn, with a majority BIPOC and queer staff that reflects the diversity of the communities we organize. As people of color, womxn, and parents, our team knew first hand that our communities would be the hardest hit during this disastrous time and began pivoting the way we work, re-imaging the way we organize, and building an organization and movement for the future. By shifting from mutual aid to power, building a base, and organizing with working families to wage campaigns at our “sites of struggle”: the workplace, the home, and in our communities, we will advance our worker power, agency, and resilience for a just recovery post-Covid and against future crises.

In the wake of the global pandemic, you joined us in advocating for safe and healthy working conditions, uplifting womxn who bear the brunt of the burden of living in quarantine and working in risky conditions, and raising and dispersing more than $1.2 million for Mass UndocuFund, our Covid-19 relief fund for undocumented workers. Together we have made a difference in the lives of working people across Massachusetts. We hope you continue your support of Massachusetts Jobs with Justice today and in the year to come.

To take on the “Triple Pandemic” of Covid-19, white supremacy, and an economic depression, we need each other more than ever. We have an opportunity to realize long term solutions that not only meet the immediate needs of today but our dreams for the future. Will you help us build a better future and a Covid Recovery that is just for all people in Massachusetts by donating to help us reach our $10,000 goal? THANK YOU for fighting against corporate greed, rallying together for the rights of working people, and organizing for the schools our communities deserve. You have joined us from taking action against Wal-mart, bad bosses, greedy corporations, and family separation to organizing together to raise the minimum wage, win earned sick time, and implement paid family medical leave. We couldn't have done it without you.

Have a safe, warm and restful winter holidays season and New Year.

In solidarity,

The Massachusetts Jobs with Justice team
