The Springfield “Welcoming Community Trust Ordinance” is an Ordinance that was introduced and voted on at Monday’s council meeting.  Passed by city council, it prevents city officials from working with ICE, and provides officers the discretion to allow residents who are pulled over for driving without a license to have a friend or family member pick up the vehicle instead of sending it to impound.
