Advocacy Guide to Federal K-12 School Funding

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) includes the most significant single investment in K-12 education by the federal government. Most of the money will go directly to local districts. Districts are required to create spending plans that include stakeholder feedback and input. This means that parents, students, educators, and community members must be part of making funding decisions and ensuring that funds go towards community needs.
