Worcester community group wants more input on how city should spend ARPA funds
Community advocate Nelly Medina is concerned the funds won't be used for the Black and brown communities they were intended for.
“When the ARPA funds were coming into the state we were really excited,” said Medina. “We thought that this was our chance to fix the infrastructure and to provide more means for people to access services. However, the city of Worcester has given us crumbs. So we're fighting, essentially, over crumbs.”
